District-Wide Lock-Down Drills

During the week of November 2-6, the Sherwood School District will conduct lock-down drills at all seven school buildings. During the lock-down, staff and students are secured within their individual classrooms/offices and there is no movement in the building. No one will be allowed to enter or exit the campus until the drill has concluded. Each drill lasts approximately 30 minutes.  Drills are scheduled for different days and times to accommodate attendance by representatives from Sherwood Police, the School Board, District administration, and staff, so that they may observe and offer feedback.  The drills are scheduled as follows:

·         Hopkins - 8:30 a.m. on November 3

·         SHS - 12:35 p.m. on November 3 **No one will be allowed to exit or enter the building during the drill**

·         Archer Glen - 8:15 a.m. on November 4

·         Edy Ridge and Laurel Ridge - 8:50 a.m. on November 4

·         Middleton - 10:15 a.m. on November 4

·         Sherwood Middle - 9:10 a.m. on November 5
