                                            Ms. Micheo's Biography

Ms. Micheo has been a school counselor for 19 years. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education/Health Education from Western Oregon University and a Master's Degree in Counselor Education from Oregon State University. She is also a National Certified Counselor. Ms. Micheo has worked as a school counselor in all grade levels (K-12) and has worked as a group therapist for two agencies.  Prior to arriving at Sherwood HS, Ms. Micheo spent many years at Philomath HS as a student teacher, Health & PE teacher, and Counselor. 

Ms. Micheo has approximately 400 students on her caseload at Sherwood HS, and works diligently to foster close relationships with her students and assist them in the areas of academic success, person/social issues, and college/career exploration.

In her spare time, Ms. Micheo likes being with her two grown children, Bradford & Stephanie, her cats Maggie Mae & Marley Blue, and her many friends; she is an avid gardener and also enjoys Yoga, reading, fishing, camping, hiking, Bowmen football, and traveling as much as possible.
