Romeo and Juliet

By

In one of the most well-known of Shakespeare’s tragedies, Romeo and Juliet are members of feuding houses. They meet at a party, fall in love, and attempt to be together, despite the enmity between the Capulets and Montagues. When Romeo attempts to break up a fight between the two households, he kills Juliet’s cousin and is banished. Juliet is then forced to be married to a man whom she doesn’t love. She enlists the help of the local friar to fake her death and be reunited with Romeo outside of the city, but will their plan succeed?  Romeo and Juliet is playing February 2nd, 3rd and 4th at 7:00 pm at the SHS Performing Arts Center.  Adult tickets are $10 each and senior & student tickets are $5 each.
