The Graduation Ceremony is the final event to recognize graduates for academic achievement.  In keeping with the serious nature of the graduation ceremony, we expect that all graduates will conduct themselves in a way that brings honor to them, their families, and the school.  The graduation ceremony is a school event and all school rules are in effect.  Expectations for appropriate dress and behavior will be reviewed with graduates in a class meeting on May 30, 2017.  There are to be no decorations or writing added to the cap and gown.  Parents and guardians are asked to encourage their graduate to make good decisions to avoid embarrassing moments during the ceremony.

Graduates please remember that drinking and driving is illegal and dangerous.  This is always a concern to parents and staff this time of year.  The Sherwood High School Grad Night 2017 Committee sponsors an excellent All-Night Party for graduating seniors.  This party is chaperoned by parents, and all graduates are encouraged to attend.  No bags, backpacks, purses, etc. are allowed at the all-night party.  Forms for the Grad Night Party are available in the Main Office at Sherwood High School.

For 2017 Grad Night Party Information (non-school sponsored) go to http://2017.sherwoodgradnight.org.  *Scholarships are available!*

All fees are required to be paid in order to participate in the graduation ceremony.
